7 Things to Stop Worrying About

  1. Other peoples’ expectations of you. At the end of the day, it’s your life not their life. So just be yourself and decide on your own goals. Feel free to change your mind whenever you want.

  2. What other people say and do. It’s not up to us to control other people. Their actions and decisions are up to them, not us.

  3. Expecting perfection. It’s unrealistic to aim for perfection. You’ll just be disappointed and discouraged all the time. Your not always ok, and that’s ok. Nobody is.

  4. Getting it wrong. We all make mistakes. It just means that you are human. It’s simply part of learning. Expect to get things wrong.

  5. Fitting in. Although social skills matter, and it’s good to think of others, you need to be true to yourself, as well.

  6. Being right. This is highly over-rated and can cause a lot of stress. If you’re confident and real you don’t need to prove you’re right. Because sometimes your not, and that’s ok too.

  7. Life being out of control. At the end of the day, there’s not much we can control – except our own reactions and our attitudes to things. So change what you can, then do your best to relax and enjoy life.
